Tamara is a graduate of Blanche Macdonald Center for Applied Design in Vancouver, Canada. Tamara received extensive training in makeup for film, photography, special fx and beauty for one year at Blanche Macdonald. In Vancouver her focus was on film and print work, but she soon realized that she enjoyed working with brides and everyday people much more. Tamara relocated to Kansas City in 2004 with her husband. After the move she decided to focus on airbrush tanning and healthy makeup. Using skills learned during eight years of experience, Tamara loves to help her clients learn how to draw out their natural beauty by enhancing their best features. Tamara also specializes in camouflage makeup. Her training in special fx and color theory come together to hide bruises, discolorations from illness, post surgical scars and bruising, birthmarks, sun damage, and under eye circles. Tamara uses Colorescience, a professional pharmaceutical grade mineral makeup that is an SPF 20 and safe for post surgical camouflage, post laser treatments, and acne prone skin. It also keeps flawless skin beautiful. It has been exciting to open her own studio. Tamara has a passion for beauty products and treatments that also benefit the health of the skin. This is why she has chosen to use and sell her favorite all natural makeup products that also protect you from the sun’s UV rays and improve your skin. She has also added the airbrush tanning service to provide beautiful bronze skin with out the risk of UV exposure.
