Here’s the cornerstone for our cutting and reining program.  This 2005 colt has what just might be the most potent performance pedigree in the appaloosa breed today.  His sire, Duals Cow Smart, is by Dual Pep, and out of a full sister of Smart Little Lena.  Dual Pep is currently the #5 all-time leading cutting horse sire with offspring earning over 20 million dollars.  It is virtually impossible to find Dual Pep lines in the appaloosa industry.  Smart Little Lena is the #1 all-time cutting horse sire with offspring earning over 35 million. 

     Ima Smart Dual’s bottom side is performance packed as well.  His dam, Paula’s Poco Siemon, runs to several great appaloosa cutter on the top, including Buttons B and Spotted Jim, and also runs to High Spot, who’s the grandsire of hall of fame reiner and NRHA bronze trophy winner High Sign, as well as the grandsire of 5 time world champion working cow horse High Sign Nugget.  The mare’s bottom side runs to Leo San Siemon, Poco Bueno and Flit Bar. 

     Ima Smart Dual is just 14 hands tall, and is the calmest, gentlest horse you’ll meet, but put him on a cow and you’ll see how dynamite comes in small packages.  He qualified for the worlds in cutting in 2009, but, due to an injury was unable to be shown there.
